Testimonials
"Feeling in touch with nature as Native Americans might have experienced was the highlight of hiking …(with Fran). Steeped in the anthropological background of the area, Fran was able to instill a quietude that allowed us to feel the spirits of those who came before us as we explored a culture that depended upon and artfully utilized what the land provided."
"I found Ms. Miller's background in local Native American culture to be extensive and enlightening. She was able to create a picture of a pre-history, Native American lifestyle that brought that world alive for me. She was able to weave information on native plant uses, basketry and spirituality into a view of a whole way of life. Fran Miller's experience in archeological field investigations of Native American sites gives her a rich background to draw upon. I would recommend her classes to anyone interested in Native American culture."
