I am a keen caravan man, that’s how I would describe myself, well recently when I decided, without the wife knowing, to buy a caravan. Go where we like, the world (or the southern part of the UK) is our oyster (the words I said to a red faced wife when I told her about the purchase). I believe those words, the wife took longer lol. Anyway I literally bought the lot, outdoor stove, all weather gear, kitted the caravan out and packed it all in ready for a lovely Caravan Holidays.

I joined the Caravan club, great place for everything you need, and the night before our Caravan Holidays I thought I would give the club a call to see if I had missed anything – ‘are you insured they said’ yes I have got car insurance and I am fully comprehensive. No they said, you need touring caravan insurance, I was completely taken aback to think I may have ventured out without having touring caravan insurance makes me feel pretty stupid. Anyhow on the brighter side the Caravan club offered insurance and I got insured on the spot.

The beaches on Bournemouth’s seafront, especially the stretch of beach around the pier, are some of the best and busiest resort beaches in the country. They are also some of the cleanest and safest beaches around.

If you’re heading to the beach via public transport, the nearest bus stop is by the BIC on Exeter Road, a short walk to the beach. You can take a Yellow Bus from most points in Bournemouth and Christchurch. There are also bus links from the Square and the Triangle.
